We got back Sunday morning. I just have one word to describe the experience, fantastic! It was the best vacation ever. We relaxed, swam, read a book, soaked up in the sun, watched movies, danced, Kiaked, Windesailed and did I say ate and drank as much as we could! I can say that I am no longer an alcohol virgin! I don't know if it's a bad thing or a good thing! The drinks I loved to drink was Pina colada, Strawberry Dackery, Bahama mama, Kahoula drinks! These drinks don't have much alcohol content and that's why I liked them. I don't know if the bartenders in Mexico are great or the drinks are as tasty here in Toronto!
I can't wait to go to south again. It was a lot of fun. A type of fun I have never experienced. Just to be completely resting and not jumping from this museum to another or site seeing. To be honest I am not a big fan of site seeing! Because when you are back from your vacation you are more tired that the time you actually started your vacation.
Our room was luxurious with a view of Atlantic Ocean. Everyday the staff would surprise us with different romantic themes. They would make different animals out of towels and flowers every night. The tuck in service was great, specially with the dark chocolate they left us with the list of activities for the next day. One night they made our Jacuzzi full of suds and rose pedals with Champagne and deserts. Rose pedals all over our bed. It was truly a fantastic second honeymoon! I definitely recommend Excellence resort.
I was worried about our fish and thank god they were still alive by the time we got back:) I had no difficulty going back to work being completely relaxed. Tomorrow is our secret Santa at our company and Friday is our company dinner party. In less than 2 weeks we have Christmas holiday! Hora!!
